Captain Kidd Pub on the River Thames is an old traditional English pub in Wapping. The pub is named after one of history’s most notorious pirates, William Kidd, who was eventually hanged at a gallows nearby known as Execution Dock.

This painting is taken from a view that can be seen on the river Thames. Painted in Oil on canvas i’ve looked to capture the iconic colours of wappings which can be seen in its renovated warehouses and other surrounding buildings.

As a participant of the ART RUSSIA FAIR in Moscow on February 20-23, 2020, a baby climbed on all fours on the floor of my stand ,got out of a stroller, chatted with friends of the Mother, and began to crawl among my two paintings on the floor.I started taking pictures of him and made a video with him. Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, I decided to paint a picture with a Woman in the pose of Sumo wrestlers. There was an empty space on the canvas to her left, and I remembered the Baby.

Miriam was born during the 2014 Summer, the twin sister of Mariam. Both mosaics were inspired by a picture of a Veiled Tuareg woman from the 70's. The Veil brings a great mystery to these piercing eyes. What could this mystery woman think behind these ? In August 2014, Miriam was awarded the First Prize at the 14th Annual Juried Art Show of the Rudd Art Center Museum in Alabama.

Dundee court, Execution Dock House, St Thomas Wharf, Orient Wharf and Pierhead Wharf warehouse conversions along Wapping High Street. This Wapping high street painting features the overhead gangways that was once used by porters to transport goods from one warehouse to the other.
